Lyrics
Why I spend the lonely nights, the lonely nights dreaming of a song
Source notes
This is yet another fix to this tag; the opening chords leading to 'spend' acted like a very steep bridge, so I just replaced it with an elevator. Instead of "sometimes I wonder..." it just starts with "why I spend..." Still plenty of harmony experiments, very ballad-like. The one before had an E-7 chord on the first 'nights', which aurally signals a halt in the piece, when I wanted it to keep going. Hence I put in a more interesting inverted E-related chord in there (Ab-7)
