Lyrics
Ho-Ho won't you play (please won't you play it) Please play (please don't delay it) Why don't you play those lowdown ba-lues, the old piano roll razzamadtazz.
Source notes
Classic Mo Rector arrangement. With iconic bass line, of course! Sung on these tracks by Doug Smith, Bass of 1971 Silver Medalist Sundowners quartet. (He's still got it!) This pdf scan is from an old manuscript (I think it's Mo's handwriting), so please excuse the grainy lines and lack of perfect clarity. (Actually, this makes it seem a bit more "Classic" to me!)
