Lyrics

title + o my soul o my soul

Source notes

Reharmonized with more contemporary chords. Some differences between this and the more kosher version. This version ascends to the middle of the tag and has the bass hang out on/close to the tonic at the beginning. Tenor & bari hold on the final 'soul' this time. The second 'O my soul' is darker and tag ends in a different cliffhanger--sliding to the 5. Meant to be sung gently and contemplatively. Lead has a typo--the F# on the last 'O' (my soul) is meant to be F-natural. Juicier for that ending thought!
